Young Dancers Aim High

A group of Year 9 students took part in a two-hour long workshop with dance professionals from the Centre for Advanced Training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. Making a Difference

Our Year 10 students are currently being encouraged to “Be the change they want to see” through their participation in the Archbishop of York Youth Trust Young Leaders Award.  One of the challenges they are set in order to gain the Award is to make a difference by serving in the community.

Students care to help

Students from Malton School showed their caring side when they spent the day at Welburn Hall School, near Kirbymoorside.
The Year 12 students who are all studying Health and Social Care spent time in the morning working as classroom assistants with students ranging from KS3 to college age.
In the afternoon our students helped the pupils with a dress rehearsal of their nativity, getting pupils ready, face painting, filming and photographing the performance and even standing in for missing pupils.
