Science Teacher

We seek an excellent teacher of Science, ideally a physicist

to join the successful and supportive Science Faculty.

This is a full-time, part-time can be considered, established post starting Summer Term 2023

Advanced teaching assistant

Literacy

EAL

We have 2 vacancies for established ATAs, starting as soon as possible.

33.5 hours per week, term time only, Grade D (scale points 4 – 6)

(£16,079 – £16,670 Actual Salary)

Literacy: to support interventions, English support, oversee whole school reading (including accelerated reader and lunchtime Library use) and spelling assessment, oversee Lexia.

EAL: this role will have a focus on supporting EAL students.  We are particularly interested in candidates who have proficiency in Ukrainian and/or a TEFL qualification.

 

We are looking for someone who can

  • Deliver SEN support in the classroom
  • Deliver small group intervention
  • Communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the school
  • Ensure that students maximise every opportunity to achieve academically and personally.
  • An excellent team player.
  • Support EAL students.

GENERAL teaching assistant

This is an established post

33.5 hours per week, term time only, Grade C (scale points 2 – 4)

equivalent starting salary at Point 2 is £15,831 

 

Malton School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well organised person to join our Learning Support team.  The role will involve working with subject teachers to support young people in lessons and contributing to both the academic and social development of students with learning difficulties.  Our Learning Support team has an excellent reputation in the local community and we are looking for people who can add to our already strong team.

Adaptability, resilience and the ability to think on your feet will be essential in this varied role as will the ability to communicate effectively. A good command of English and Maths and strong ICT skills are essential.
