pastoral administrator

Salary £19,711 – £20,713 per annum

We pride ourselves on the Pastoral Service offered at Malton School, it’s a strong and supportive team, where no two days are the same. To compliment this team, we are looking for a highly organised, experienced administrator to provide an administrative service to the school and Pastoral Team (under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher of Pastoral Care and Safeguarding).

The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, excellent at time and task management, a clear and confident communicator with a great sense of humour.

Advanced teaching assistant – numeracy

Malton School is looking for an enthusiastic and well organised person to join our Learning Support team. The role will involve working with subject teachers to support young people in lessons and contributing to both the academic and social development of students with learning difficulties.  Our Learning Support team has an excellent reputation in the local community and we are looking for people who can add to our already strong team.

  • Deliver SEN support in the classroom
  • Deliver small group intervention
  • Communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the school

Food Technology Technician

We are seeking a well organised and supportive person to work under the supervision and direction of teachers, as part of a Food Technology technical team to support learning by providing technical assistance, through the coordination, preparation and maintenance of teaching areas and equipment for students.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good organisation skills.

General kitchen assistant (part-time)

We have a great opportunity for a part-time General Kitchen Assistant to join us at our wonderful school based close to Malton town centre. Playing a vital role in helping to deliver a healthy and varied menu to the students, staff and visitors, we are looking for someone who is professional, warm and friendly.

This is a key role in ensuring our students have access to freshly prepared meals, working as part of our established catering team.

We are looking for:

  • A team player, with a great sense of humour who is willing to support the wider catering team and able to use initiative.
  • Someone hard working, with a good understanding of hygiene.
  • Full training will be given but previous experience an advantage
