Learning Manager (Cover Supervisor)

We seek a Learning Manager to join a successful and supportive team.

Learning Managers supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.  Cover work is provided.  When there are no cover requirements, Learning Managers provide admin and/or technical support for the Faculty Team to which they are attached.  There may be an opportunity to take on some teaching depending on qualifications, experience and interests.

This is an established full-time post starting on 1st September 2022
37 hours per week, term time only, Band F (scale points 8 – 13).  Starting salary of £17,530 (actual for term time working)

Lead and support Exam Invigilators required

This is a relief post starting as soon as possible

Pay: Grade C, £9.60 – £9.99 per hour

Malton School has an exciting opportunity for a flexible and well organised person to join our exams team. The role will involve running examinations and supervising candidates in compliance with JCQ regulations. Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet will be essential in this varied role, as will the ability to communicate effectively. A good command of English and Maths and basic ICT skills are essential.

Please note that this role is seasonal and sessions are agreed based on examination timetables. The main external exam series runs throughout May and June, with additional sessions often taking place in November, January and February. Sufficient availability is required during these periods.
