Facilities

Facilities at Malton School are excellent and include:

  • 8 specialist Science laboratories with 4 accompanying prep rooms; this enables us to place an emphasis on practical experiments and investigation.
  • Dance and drama studio which also acts as a lecture theatre and performance space for evening events.
  • Our food prep rooms are very well equipped and enable us to develop cookery as a life skill; we also have close links to Malton Food Festival, held every May.
  • The Art Department boasts several specialist studio spaces and reflects the feel and aspiration of a university art department, with the standard of artwork impressing visitors every year.
  • The Technology suite has been modernized and equipped with the latest Cad-Cam, Laser Cutter and 3D printing capabilities.

malton community sports centre (MCSC)

Malton Community Sports Centre is housed on our campus and as a school facility, students have priority access during the school day.  The Centre boasts:

  • 4 badminton courts
  • 1 tennis court
  • Basketball and netball courts
  • 4 indoor cricket nets
  • Climbing wall
  • Trampolining facility.
  • Full sized, floodlit, 3G astro-turf football pitch, allowing all-weather hockey and rugby as well as football.

  • External grass pitches for rugby, football, hockey and cricket
  • Athletics track
  • Long-jump pit
  • Tennis and netball courts

Sixth Form
