Malton Rugby Academy

Malton School’s Rugby Academy, launched in 2024 in partnership with Malton & Norton Rugby Union Football Club, is an opportunity for you to continue your studies and at the same time enhance your rugby skills.  The Academy offers a unique blend of academic and athletic opportunities tailored to those students who want to excel both in the classroom and on the field.  Led by Rob Featherstone, the Club’s School and Community Coach and Academy Lead, it will offer you:

• Flexible Learning Options: a variety of A Level and vocational courses, designed to accommodate training and match schedules. This flexibility ensures that you can pursue your academic and athletic ambitions simultaneously without compromise.
• Leadership Opportunities: you will have the chance to become “Sports Leaders,” building essential skills in teamwork, discipline, and leadership. These roles help students gain confidence, valuable life skills, and experience that can be transferred to any future career or sporting endeavour.
• Modern Facilities: our 3G pitch and indoor hall, plus access to the Rugby Club’s facilities, ensures that training sessions are consistent and adaptable to all weather conditions.

If you’re ready to “Begin – Continue – Reignite Your Love of Rugby,” The Sixth Form at Malton Rugby Academy could be for you.
